Yesterday I covered Chakra #2, The Creator. Today is Chakra #3, The Powerball. I will again cite my references for this blog:
Deborah King, Truth Heals – without the knowledge obtained from her book, Truth Heals, I wouldn’t have been able to recognize my own issues and begin my self-transforming journey.
Swami Saradananda – without being presented with her book, Chakra Meditation, I would have stayed “stuck” in my own turmoil.
Reminder: It will be important to subscribe to this blog in order to get an action plan for balancing these chakras. You can also send an email to email@example.com and title the subject line: CAP – Chakra Action Plan. This action plan will be provided no later than two weeks after the final chakra blog is published.
As described and repeated from day one of this chakra blog, many of you may know that each chakra takes in and processes energy as it distributes this energy back out to our body or psyche. These chakras are the reason that our emotions are thought to affect certain parts of our physical body, which in turn, can make us ill mentally, physically and spiritually.
Understanding these chakras and the many ways to work with each one, helps us remove negative energy blocks that can open up and enhance our physical and emotional well-being.
Today, we begin with the solar plexus chakra, Chakra #3.
The solar plexus chakra is located between the abdomen and the sternum
Aka (also known as):
This is our stronghold, our fire, harnesses our energy to convert to action, your sense of self and your willpower, personal growth and self-esteem are located here.
Chakra Physical Disorders:
When the solar plexus chakra is not balanced, some of the physical body risk areas are pancreas, liver, muscle issues; food intolerance, blood sugar problems, diabetes paralysis and muscle spasms; gallstones, hiatal hernia and hemorrhoids.
Emotional & Physical Issues:
Emotional neediness and attention-seeking occurs; you may lack energy to put ideas into practice and fear rejection; indecisiveness, over-sensitivity to criticism, poor self-confidence and self-image.
A need to manipulate or be controlled by others; lack sensitivity and burn-out, and won’t tolerate those with less energy; judgmental, aggressive perfectionist and an interest in self-aggrandizement for your claim to fame.
A number of common or natural issues can occur that can knock this chakra off-balance. Some of those issues are:
- Always the Victim
This chakra allows you the ability to become prosperous, drives ambition; expends powerful charisma to others; you become open and loving; increases your personal worth and you avoid excess and respect boundaries.

Until tomorrow, come right back here where we’ll take a look at Chakra #4, “The Heartfelt” Chakra.
