Yesterday I covered Chakra #1, The Grounder. Today is Chakra #2, The Creator. I always honor my literary mentors and I’d like to cite my references for this blog:
Deborah King, Truth Heals – without the knowledge obtained from her book, Truth Heals, I wouldn’t have been able to recognize my own issues and begin my self-transforming journey.
Swami Saradananda – without being presented with her book, Chakra Meditation, I would have stayed “stuck” in my own turmoil.
Reminder: It will be important at this point to subscribe to this blog in order to get an action plan for balancing these chakras. You can also send an email to email@example.com and title the subject line: CAP – Chakra Action Plan. This action plan will be provided no later than two weeks after the final chakra blog is published.
As described and repeated from day one of this chakra blog, many of you may know that each chakra takes in and processes energy as it distributes this energy back out to our body or psyche. These chakras are the reason that our emotions are thought to affect certain parts of our physical body, which in turn, can make us ill mentally, physically and spiritually.
Understanding these chakras and the many ways to work with each one, helps us remove negative energy blocks that can open up and enhance our physical and emotional well-being.
Today, we begin with the sacral chakra, Chakra #2.
The sacral chakra is located below the navel, around the kidney and genital region of our body
Aka (also known as):

Chakra Physical Disorders:
When the sacral chakra is not balanced, some of the physical body risk areas are hardening of the arteries, varicose veins, anemia, kidney, bladder, menstrual ailments, impotence, frigidity, fibroids, prostate problems, inflammatory bowel, sciatica.
Emotional & Physical Issues:
Inability to ground yourself, unable to set boundaries, tendency to be overly emotional; spend lots of time daydreaming, manifest financial issues that can draw us towards poverty, abuse and self-neglect.
Depression, nothing seems good enough, writer’s block, insensitive to other’s emotional needs, unable to express feelings, aggression
A number of common or natural issues can occur that can knock this chakra off-balance. Some of those issues are:
- Financial Problems
This chakra allows you the ability to nurture and be nurtured.
