Stonehenge – Like Aphrodite, Almighty!

Crows cackle in the circle of Stonehenge as they jump from one stone to another.  The stones remind me of the Greek alphabet for pi.

The definition for stone is a rock or a piece of rock shaped or finished for a particular purpose; a piece of rock that is used in construction; a coping stone; a paving stone; gravestone or tombstone; grindstone, millstone, or whetstone; milestone or boundary; and the one women like, gemstone.

A diamond of a place that inspired me to write this poem admiringly:

I was at the diamond of my dreams;
Stonehenge is all of this to me.
As I contemplate the history;
The stones know the mystery.

The hands, feet and bodies;
That crossed its paths almighty,
Stand tall like Aphrodite.
This is what Stonehenge
Means to me.

The sky is gray and the wind is cold, but I believe the ground is warm, safe and secure in the knowledge only it can know.

I must go now and leave my presence here to remember my special visit to Stonehenge.  Until tomorrow when I visit Cornwall sacred sites, have a peaceful and abundant day!
