Producing Negative Energy – Cut The Chord!

Having a terrible, awful, very bad day?  Our ego and emotions are powerful, self-sabotaging and dangerous if we don’t quiet our minds and attempt to understand their nature.

I know what these bad days feel like because I experienced them in my own corporate environment.  I experienced the same thing with family, friends and foe.  I always had difficulty stopping the chatter in my head, balancing myself, and becoming non-reactive.  I could rarely master my feelings.  I wasn’t consciously aware of what was going on inside of me that was creating the chaotic and negative vibrations around me.

Today I’d like to share a few techniques that Sonia Choquette recommends we do that can help us stop the negative flow or frequency in distressing or confrontational situations.  When the moment strikes – do one of the following:

EXERCISE #1

Grab your keys and go for a walk with your keys in your hands.  While you are walking, notice in nature what is beautiful.  Nature has a high vibration that can override the negative frequency.  Look at the trees, birds, and flowers.  Walking and breathing with your keys in your hand will interrupt the negative flow of energy.

EXERCISE #2

Sing – it doesn’t matter if you can’t carry a tune, you can sing to yourself.  An instant balancing song is from The Sound of Music, Do-Re-Me-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do.  Singing this song balances your body chakras.  Do corresponds to the 1st chakra, Re to the 2nd chakra, Me to the 3rd chakra, and so on.  This exercise shatters the negative vibration surrounding you.

EXERCISE #3

Breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.  Listen to the video below and try the breath of fire, breathing through your abdomen.   This exercise throws off the negative energy.

EXERCISE #4

Another technique to interrupt the negative vibration is to thump the heart by slapping your thigh and saying “Ha”.  Sonia says to listen as all becomes quiet inside of you.

Blogging from the last frontier – Alaska, I remain grateful for you.  Until tomorrow for Blogtalk Friday with Sonia Choquette, I remain at peace.
