Apollo 14 Astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Inducted Into Da Vinci Society for Thinking

Congratulations Dr. Mitchell for being inducted as a 2011 Leonardo da Vinci Society inductee.  He will be inducted into the Leonardo da Vinci Society for the Study for Thinking, on June 3, 2011, at the University of Advancing Technology (UAT) in Tempe, AZ..

Dr. Mitchell is a scientist, naval officer, test pilot, author and astronaut.  He was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize in 2005 and authored two books, “The Way of the Explorer” and “Psychic Exploration”.

In 1973, Dr. Mitchell founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS).  He explains that after returning from a mission, he had an ephiphany.  His story is that he was overcome with a feeling and a profound sense of universal connectedness that caused the creation of IONS.

I have a strong belief in the IONS organization and I follow them weekly, if not daily.  They oftentimes provide FREE teleseminars on consciousness, which I take advantage of every opportunity I can to attend these educational, inspirational and self-transformational programs.

Tap into this wonderful organization via their website, http://www.noetic.org/ and follow them on twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/NoeticOrg.   You won’t be sorry!
