I will spend the next nine days sharing a radio show interview with Bruce Lipton, an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Bruce is a stem cell biologist, and a bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award.
Lipton poses the following question – “are we victims of our genes?” This is the prevailing perception and he believes it is incorrect. How and why did Lipton change his mind about this belief? He says it took two to three years and he wasn’t a spiritual person or astrology geek. He states that he now knows the science behind this theory.
Lipton suggests that we should stop being a victim of heredity. He believes that our beliefs and our perceptions control our genes. He says, “Our thoughts are like a government to a community of 50 trillion cells; but, reality is, that the living things are the cells that make us who we are; we represent the collective consciousness of 50 trillion cells.”
Lipton believes that every cell has a respiratory, reproductive, nervous, and immune system built into every cell. He further believes that the character of our cells is related to the environment we are living in.
Listen to Bruce talk about getting out of the bomb shelter and how we should stop compromising our growth and affecting our health.
The video will stop after 10 minutes. Tomorrow, I will continue with the next 10 minute interview. For the next nine days, you will hear a total of approximately one hour of taping from Bruce Lipton.
This is fascinating stuff and is part of my out-of-the-box thinking series about how you can begin a new journey towards self-transformation.
Please enjoy and absorb Bruce’s message and I’ll post another interview tomorrow.
