Wow, this morning was powerful for me because my favorite of all favorite authors was on Dr. Oz. Deepak Chopra graced us with his presence and took the audience away with a breathing exercise and a very brief example of a meditation focusing on our heart and asking our selves, “who am I”, “what do I want”, “what makes me happy”. It was a very refreshing quick meditation.
Try to set some time aside tonight, 5 to 10 minutes, to try this simple meditation while focusing on your own heart. Attempt to quiet your mind and, if possible, extend this focus for at least 20 minutes. I know, I know, your life is too busy to do this. Think about this – if you don’t do this, you’ll just keep experiencing the same thing that you’ve been experiencing in the past. As Dr. Phil says, “how’s that working for you?”
